Randy Schrum
Founder & Principal
Randy Schrum is a Nashville-based entrepreneur and investor with more than 25 years of experience building, acquiring, and operating businesses. He founded Kinsmen Holdings as a vehicle to acquire and steward owner-led businesses for the long term — a natural extension of the work he has done throughout his career.
Randy also founded Owner Equity Partners, an advisory firm that helps founders navigate the complexities of ownership transitions. Together, these two firms reflect a singular commitment: to serve founders well, whether through counsel or through direct acquisition.
His approach to business is shaped by a deep belief in long-term thinking, operational integrity, and the value of relationships built on trust. He has seen firsthand what it means to build something from nothing, and he carries that understanding into every conversation with a founder considering their next chapter.
Outside of work, Randy is a husband and father of nine. His family is his first priority and the foundation from which everything else grows. He is rooted in Nashville, where he and his family have built their life.
